Vision Board
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a planner. I go to bed with a plan for the next day and wake up ready to execute. Step by step I will plan out what it is that I want to achieve and so far so good...it has worked for me. One thing you may not know is that when I set a goal for myself I know that I will reach it…I believe it. I say my prayers and try to stay positive. So as a therapist I make vision boards with my clients all the time. Goal setting is a huge part of what I do and a huge part in the success of my clients. Whether you are a planner or not I encourage you to make a vision board! Cut out images from a magazine or use pictures from the Internet and paste them onto a word document. There are also a few free vision board apps in the app store on your phone or tablet if you prefer that (Success Vision Board). Create one and put it somewhere you know you’ll glance at. Maybe you have fitness goals, education plans, or strive for financial freedom…seeing your goal means you are thinking about them which will motivate you to take the necessary steps to reach your goals. What’s on your vision board?
